My name is Bob Nelson and I am a recent graduate from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL. While in school I received degrees in both marketing and studio art design. It is through a juxtaposition of these two disciplines that I find much of my inspiration and direction for many of my present designs. Influenced very highly by the contemporary graffiti movement, my art is a synthesis of the elaborate style and flair of street art combined with the smooth polished look of professional business. On the surface these two educational paths seem completely opposite from one another. But by utilizing certain elements of each craft, I try to create a kind of professional style of graffiti that combines smooth curves with a variety of solid colors lines to create my forms. My most recent endeavors have involved translating this kind of street art from a physical to a digital form. This introduction into the digital realm has led me recently into logo, t-shirt, flyer, and web design. Below is a link to download my most recent resume.
