
Her heart was beginning to come down from its pounding drumroll, and the cymbal crash to end the cacophony was her panic turning to absolute resolve. She had some experience solving problems, and like a cheating boyfriend, thieves always left a trail. She flagged down a person in the hallway.
"Excuse me," she said. "Did you see anyone using this locker?"
"No, sorry" the man replied. "But I got to this floor the same time as you. Remember, we got off the elevator together?"
Her deductive skills were going to need to get sharper.
Three people later, she hit upon a lead.
"Yeah, I saw someone in that locker; I thought it was weird he left the door open."
"Did you see what he looked like?"
"Yeah, he was tall, dark hair, tan, skinny. I don't know his name, but I think he's in the a cappella group on campus, All-Night Yahtzee."
All-Night Yahtzee. This guy was about to feel All-Night Wrath.
