Movie Review

Anchorman, made in 2004, is a comedy that focuses on the main character, Ron Burgundy (Will Ferrell), and his channel four news team. Which consists of Brian Fantana (Paul Rudd), Brick Tamland (Steve Carell), and Champ Kind (David Koechner). They report the news in San Diego and during this time (1970's) broadcasting is very much male dominated. The news team is upset when they hear that a woman Veronica Corningstone (Christina Applegate) is joining their team. After a while, Ron and the team take interest in Veronica and all try to woo her. Ron ultimately wins her heart, but an unfortunate event happens to Ron where he is unable to read the news one day. Veronica fills his position as lead anchor and ultimately the decision is made Veronica be co-anchor with Ron. Ron is outraged but what's done is done. The two bicker back and forth with one another, until a slip of the tongue gets Ron fired. Veronica then takes the position of lead anchor. The movie is filled with laughs and you MUST watch the movie to find out what happens next!
