Chicken Divan

Ingredients:
- 4 whole chicken breasts
- 1 package onion soup mix (optional)
- 2 (10 oz) packages frozen broccoli
- 2 cups condensed cream of chicken soup (2 cans)
- 1 cup mayonnaise or sour cream
- 1 tsp. lemon juice (juice from a 1/2 lemon)
- 1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese




Instructions:
- preheat oven to 350 degrees
- boil the 4 whole chicken breasts for 20 minutes in salted water or onion soup mix
- remove chicken and cool, saving boiling water;
place the frozen broccoli into this same seasoned water, and cook per directions on package
- remove broccoli and spread into a 9"x13" pan
- cut up chicken and spread over the broccoli
- mix soup, mayonnaise, and lemon juice
- spread this divan sauce over the chicken and broccoli
- spread grated sharp cheddar cheese on top
- cook at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes
serves 6-8
