Oreo dirt pudding

Ingredients:        

• 1 lg. pkg. Oreo cookies
• 1/2 stick butter
• 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
• 1 c. powdered sugar
• 3 1/2 c. milk
• 1 pkg. instant French vanilla pudding
• 1 (12 oz.) carton Cool Whip
• 8 inch diameter (at top) new clay pot or plastic pot
• Artificial flowers to insert into dessert

Instructions:

1. Crush well one whole package of Oreo cookies. Set aside. 
2. Cream together butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar.  
3. In separate bowl, mix together milk and pudding mix, add to creamed mixture.
4. Plug hole in pot by placing a plastic container lid into bottom of pot.
5. Layer cookies and pudding mix. End with cookies.
6. Refrigerate. (Recipe should be cut in 1/2 for smaller pot.)
7. Decorate with flowers before serving.
